We loved the peaceful setting and how helpful the owners were. Definitely planning to return, such a lovely place to stay!
Oliver Jenkins
We had a really lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The location is spot on, with stunning views and plenty to explore nearby. The hosts were super friendly and chatty; we enjoyed swapping stories about local sights like castles and the Mach Loop, which was fascinating. The lemon drizzle cake they made was absolutely delicious-seriously, it was a highlight! The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a chilly eveningand we even got to stargaze since there’s no light pollution-saw the milky way and some satellites passing overhead, which was pretty cool. Aberdovey itself is charmingand we loved grabbing a pint and a bite at the Dovey Inn. The beach is endless, with loads of shellsand the hike up to Bearded Lake offers views that just leave you speechless. Would definitely recommend!
Emma

We absolutely loved our stay at Cwm Maethlon. The views are breathtakingand the peaceful surroundings made it so relaxing. Dylan and Fiona are genuinely lovely hosts - super warm and welcoming, they really made us feel at home. We appreciated the homemade cake and free-range eggs, but honestly, their friendliness was the highlight. Watching the animals was a real treatand the walks right outside the door are perfect for a bit of outdoor exploring. The hot tub was a lovely extra after a day outand our dog had the best holiday, splashing around with the sheep and cows. All in all, a truly therapeutic spot - we’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely stay in this peaceful countryside spot. The place was super comfy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Dylan and Fiona made us feel really welcome, always checking if we were alright. We especially enjoyed the farm lamb burgers and local sausages, perfect for the BBQ. Would definitely come back again. Only thing we missed was knowing about dog restrictions in the kitchen and utility room - it would’ve been helpful to have that info upfront.
