This 17th-century property has links to the Sheriff of Shropshire, Oliver Cromwell and Welsh royalty. Seven enormous bedrooms (all with ensuites) make this the perfect spot for your extended family to pretend they're posh for a week. The house has been carefully renovated to maintain its historical character while adding modern luxuries.

Set within 10 acres of stunning grounds including formal gardens, a croquet lawn, tennis court, orchard, woodland walks and even a lake. You'll feel like lords and ladies of the manor as you explore your temporary kingdom. Previous guests have spent hours playing tennis, croquet and football before relaxing in the hot tub. It's like Downton Abbey, but with better plumbing and fewer servants giving you judgy looks.

The accommodation includes three king-size double bedrooms, one double, one ground floor double, one ground floor twin (which can become a super king-size) and one twin - all with ensuites.
